Cero OSB was a brief project conducted for a design contest focused on wood products. Our initial observation of the poor lifecyle of OSB panels used to close construction sites was combined with further observations of construction workers in Chile usually lacking a place to rest and eat during lunch time. With material and user in mind we set to design an experimental furniture collection that could be fully laser cut and assembled dry in just a couple of hours.
Thus, a chair, table and a sound diffuser were designed and manufactured to prove the worthiness of recycled OSB panels as a low cost material paired with a relatively low cost and labor production process.
